Colorful turn of the year
After a longer break we are drawn to Mexico again. The colorful and lively country not only offers a rich history and a lot of culture, but also has an interesting, diverse cuisine and – not least of all for us – flying areas that delight the thermal heart.
Our tour will take us mainly to two regions of the country. We discover the province of Colima on the Pacific side – an area relatively unknown to aviation around the still active volcano of the same name with beautiful, well-prepared take-off sites and rich thermals.
The second part of the tour will be spent in the world famous Valle del Bravo and its surroundings. Not only do millions of the colorful monarch butterflies gather there every year, but every year pilots are driven to this magical place to enjoy the abundant thermals and extremely reliable weather conditions.

Own arrival to Mexico City. On arrival we recommend a domestic flight to Colima. Meeting point in Colima on 22.12.2024. Departure from 05.01.2025 in the evening from Mexico City. Flight advice and booking assistance available through Flywithandy.

SHV/DHV Pilot or IPPI 4, adventurous spirit, flexibility, safe glider control (if you are unsure, we would be happy to help you).
Language
Our guides speak English and will be happy to translate any information for you. However, the main language of the tour is usually German.
