Mediterranean New Year in the Balkans
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with us on the Balkan Riviera. While there may already be snow inland, the Adriatic coast of Montenegro and Albania is still relatively warm.
Not only is the coast here very picturesque, but the protected southwest flanks can also provide really good flying conditions. There is often good thermal air here on the shortest days of the year, and experienced pilots can even fly short distances along the steep coast.
Landing typically takes place on the beach. If you choose the designated landing beach wisely, a drink will be waiting for you.
Locals like to spend New Year’s Eve by the sea. The towns along the Riviera are correspondingly lively with many nice restaurants and lively bars.
Whether we head south and fly into Albania or head to the Montenegrin coast depends on the weather.
