Varied Southern Italy
From Rome we start another of our classics, a journey that will take us through the regions of Campagna, Basilicata and Calabria to Sicily.
Many almost unknown flying areas lie there like pearls on a necklace.
Whether we fly over the home of mozzarella, lift our wings for spectacular sea flights with over 1200 m of altitude difference and then land on the crystal clear waters of the beaches, whether we explore the almost perfect XC areas in the middle of the boot, climb up lonely and wild rocky landscapes, locate the convergences with beach views, enjoy the pleasant sea conditions or perhaps take off over the steaming crater of the small Aeolian island of Vulcano; as always, the weather and the wind will decide.
Come with us on a journey and discover this beautiful part of southern Italy, which has a lot to offer in terms of aviation and cuisine, and is particularly good for flying in late autumn.
We will end this tour in Catania, Sicily. This tour can be combined with the Abruzzo Tour II.
