Into the smallest high mountain range in the world

Not far away, but mostly unknown among Alpine pilots, there is great flying potential in Slovakia.

Around the famous High Tatras, which boasts a distinctive rocky mountain range, we find good launching opportunities, which invite to view the highest peaks of the Tatras from the air.

The further south you go, the lovelier the area, the flying spots and the landscape become. Like a miniature version of the Alps, the “smallest high mountain range in the world” offers everything in a small space – the high peaks as well as the gentle and grassy “Alpine foothills” flying areas. Especially there are very nice XC opportunities in the right weather conditions.

This tour will also be flexible. We allow ourselves to be driven by the wind and weather and also have our sights set on trips to southern Poland or the nearby Czech Republic.
