Sooner or later most pilots will probably be drawn to Valais. Seeing the impressive high mountain landscape and the fascinating Aletsch Glacier from above is great. It is said that high alpine flying in Goms and Lower Valais is demanding. In our opinion it is. The best way to approach the well-known “race tracks” is in temperate autumn conditions and with experienced support.
That’s exactly what we’re offering with the two new camper tours in September and October. Together with Raoul Giger, a local flight instructor, you will get to know Valais from the air. In the daily briefings, we prepare a flight route, explain key locations and give you valuable tips on flight tactics. Local knowledge is of great value, especially if you want to cross the Alpine passes or explore the Rhone Valley. Well-instructed and with a clear plan, you can enjoy the beauty of nature along the way. That’s what it’s all about.
This tour is suitable for intermediate level pilots. This means that ideally you have already had some experience with thermal flying and can move independently far from known landing sites. As always, we adapt to your individual needs as best as possible and support you at the take-off and via radio. We share the unforgettable experiences in a cozy atmosphere.

Requirements
SHV/DHV pilot or IPPI 4 or B-certificate DHV, safe take-off technique, independent landing, thermal experience in the alpine region.
Language
Our guides speak English and will be happy to translate any information for you. However, the main language of the tour is usually German.

Accommodation, meals, insurance, mountain railroads, take-off and landing fees if applicable.
