When the good flying days at home become rarer again in the fall, a tour the southeast of France is worthwhile, where we extend the alpine flying season a bit with still warm temperatures and good thermal conditions.
The wild and romantic landscape of Haute Provence captivates in October with brightly colored autumn colors and bathes the slopes in bright yellow, orange and red; a real highlight to enjoy this scenery from the air.
The small town of Dinge les Bains will be our starting point, from where a variety of flying areas are easily accessible and we can be quite flexible according to weather conditions.
Hours of flying upslope along the terrain edge of Aspres or a few more track miles along the cloud bases in Saint André les Alpes, as well as the good local cuisine and excellent wines for the evening program; the south of France has something for everyone.
