Camper tour Northern Balkans

Andy, our biggest fan of “free travel”, has another unusual goal with his van: he wants to leave Central Europe and head towards the Balkans. Not alone – but with a motivated group.

This is the plan: The tour starts in the border triangle of Italy, Croatia and Slovenia. The journey continues into the border area of ​​Bosnia-Croatia. The highlight of this area is the beautiful national park around the Plitvice Lakes.

Afterwards we explore the Bosnian hinterland with its high plateaus, where wide, grassy valleys invite you to experience cross-country flights. The planned end of the tour is Split.

On this trip, we will also follow the best weather and set up our camp for the night where we like the flight prospects and the landscape best. In addition to camping sites, we will also occasionally pitch our tents in the wilderness.

If the weather conditions there do not promise good flying conditions, we will adjust the destination as we do every year. One possibility would be to move the trip to the southern Balkans.
