Georgia

Between the European and Asian continents, between the Black and Caspian Seas, lies the small country of Georgia. To the north it is bordered by the wild mountains of the Caucasus, which include the highest mountain in Europe, Mount Elbrus, at over 5000 meters. To the south, vast plains stretch all the way to Armenia. Thus, Georgia is not only a melting pot of different cultures and influences, which is especially reflected in the diverse and rich cuisine, but also offers an extremely interesting potential in terms of aviation.

The high grassy flanks of the Caucasus Mountains with their white giants in the background provide a spectacular backdrop for breezy flights and sufficiently strong thermals, especially in late summer. Quite different is the character of the launching possibilities in the hills of the grassy plain in front; there you will find playgrounds in the “San Fermo XXL” format.
