Camper tour England

Andy, our biggest fan of “free travel”, has another unusual goal with his camper: He wants to leave Central Europe and go to the British Isles.

Not alone – but with a motivated group. This is the plan: We start the tour in the very south on the Isle of Wight with perfect coastal soaring areas, idyllic villages and typical pubs. The tour continues to Wales, where the landscape is characterized by grassy hills, high moors and vast sheep pastures. It offers interesting conditions for thermal and cross-country flights.

Not all launch sites are accessible by car. When climbing up on foot, we are happy about the small differences in height of the hills (30 – 60 minutes walking time). We follow the best weather also on this trip and set up our night camp where flight views and nature are most pleasing.

By the way: English people travel their island very often in “camping style” and have numerous cool campsites. If you are curious, adventurous and flexible, then get your tent, motorhome or camper ready and come with us on our unique foray through the hilly expanses of England.

If, for once, the weather conditions in England do not promise good flying conditions, we hope for an opportunity to travel the Tatras…!
