A true paragliding paradise opens up to the east of the Alps. Carinthia in Austria, Friuli in Italy and the Slovenian Alps offer virtually everything a pilot’s heart desires. The tri-border region can be perfectly combined on a round trip, sometimes even flyingwise.

Spacious takeoff and landing areas, generous elevation changes, excellent thermal conditions and diverse crosscountry opportunities: these are the key features that rightfully make this region a classic among pilots. Ideally, within a week, you’ll be flying in front of the spectacular Alpine backdrop of Carinthia, following the crystal-clear Soča River in Slovenia and thermalling over the southern edge of the Alps in Gemona.
