Road trip Balkans

We pack our gliders, start the bus and point the compass south. During 14 days we will first move eastwards along the Alps and then southwards through the Balkans. We fly wherever the weather permits. We will spend the night in such a way that we can continue our journey or fly perfectly the next day.

We are planning our first stop in Slovenia or even in Istria, the northernmost corner of Croatia. We will continue our journey either along the coast of Croatia or we will take the route over the inland, if the flight conditions look better there. If possible, we also fly to the most rewarding areas of Bosnia and make a stop in lively Sarajevo. We will continue through the wild mountains of Montenegro or alternatively along the picturesque Adriatic coast. The weather will decide it.

Finally, we may have a few more extended flights over the areas of Kosovo on the program before ending our tour in the capital of northern Macedonia, Skopje.
