Through the south of the Iberian Peninsula
Our road trip takes us from Andalusia to Portugal through the most beautiful flying areas between Málaga and Lisbon. We start on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain and stop where the weather suits flying.
The famous Algodonales flying arena, which offers various take-off options for almost all wind directions and invites you to enjoy thermals or even a few kilometers of flight, can be on the program, as can a detour to the region around Granada or Jaén.
On our itinerary towards Lisbon, we can stay true to the inland and fly over the beautiful Sierras, which are in full bloom of olives and broom at this time of year. Or we choose the route along the coast, where attractive soaring spots await us – for example Matalascañas in Spain or the pretty west coast of Portugal and we enjoy the sunsets by the sea, fresh fish and the waves of the Atlantic.
Everything is possible on this road trip and there is certainly something for every aviation dream. A colorful mix of thermal flying and beach soaring, culinary highlights from two countries and full flexibility to follow the beautiful weather.
