Thermals, technique and tactics
In February we leave the cold north and travel to the southern edge of the Alps in search of the first thermals.
Depending on the weather, we will decide at short notice where we will set up our wings. In Slovenia, Italy, Istria or southern France, there are many areas that already work well in early spring.
On this trip, we’ll focus on thermal soaring. We’ll show you how to move around the terrain to find updrafts. We’ll practice the correct technique to make the most of thermals.
