Best of Southern Balkans

Together we explore the border area of ​​North Macedonia, Albania and Greece. Our starting point is the lowland flying mecca Krusevo in North Macedonia. From there we move towards Lake Ohrid, which is known for its crystal clear and clean water.

From the beautiful starting point high above Lake Ohrid you can see across to the plateaus around the Albanian town of Korca, which is often referred to as the cradle of Albanian culture. Korca is not only an exciting little town with a traditional bazaar and French-style boulevards, but also has a paragliding take-off.

From here we fly either along the hills or high above the flat plain surrounding the town. If conditions are right, we will fly towards our next stop, the Greek village of Konitsa, which lies in the wild mountains of Northern Greece.

The village lies on the northern edge of the huge Pindos National Park, which consists of mountains, deep gorges and endless forest, where the largest bear population in Greece lives. From here we drive or fly towards the well-known XC area of ​​Ioannina.

Our exploration tour could look like this, or completely different. It all depends on the weather. We are guided by the best conditions and the most beautiful flying areas.

The main thing is that we experience beautiful flights and exciting moments in a fascinating corner of Southeastern Europe that has not yet been overrun by tourism.
