Cumuli, XC and 3 countries
On our Pampa tour in January, we pack our winches, start in the capital Buenos Aires and travel through the endless expanses of the Pampas of Argentina, the grasslands of Uruguay and move to southern Brazil, as far as Porto Alegre.
In the best-case scenario, we can also fly to some mountain launch sites there, which also boast great XC potential.
Having flown and travelled extensively in this region, we are sure that it offers everything that makes a pilot’s heart beat faster: relaxed cross-country flying under beautifully formed cumulus clouds that stretch over an incredible distance, a large number of towing options, consistent cross-country conditions, and endless potential. There are probably few regions in the world that boast such fascinating, wide, and flat terrain.
We will again flexibly follow the wind, the good weather, and the best flight opportunities. The journey will begin in the bustling metropolis of Buenos Aires; from there we will travel north to the province of Entre Rios, continuing through Uruguay and its beautiful grasslands, all the way to southern Brazil.
The capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, will mark the end of our expedition. As always, everything in between will remain flexible, offer enough adventure and hopefully have the best flying weather.

Michael started flying when he was 14 years old. Since 1999 he has passed on his enthusiasm as a flight instructor to others. His passion for long-distance travel has taken him to countless places around the world. The wanderlust hasn’t let go of him to this day and keeps driving him to foreign continents. He is happy to pass on his knowledge and experience in an uncomplicated and cheerful manner. With Michael you get into the air in unknown regions. Countries he has flown to include Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nepal, Iceland, Venezuela and Costa Rica. Well-known areas such as Brazil, Portugal or the Alps are also included. His travel experience makes him feel at home anywhere in the world.

Getting there
Own arrival. Meeting point in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on January 2, 2028, by noon. Return flight on January 15, 2028, from Porto Alegre (Brazil). Flight advice and booking assistance available through Flywithandy.
A passport is required for entry and must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry. No visa is required for Swiss and German citizens.

Requirements
SHV/DHV pilot or IPPI 4, thirst for adventure, flexibility, confident paraglider control (we would be happy to advise you personally).
Language
Our guides all speak good English and will be happy to translate all the information for you. However, the main language of the tour is usually German.
