Mediterranean New Year in the Balkans
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with us on the Riviera of the Balkans. While there may already be snow inland, the Adriatic coast of Montenegro and Albania is still relatively mild.
The coast here is not only very picturesque, but the sheltered southwest slopes can also provide really good flying conditions. Often, on the shortest days of the year, there is good thermal activity here, and experienced pilots can even fly short distances along the steep coast.
Landing typically takes place on the beach. If you choose your designated landing beach wisely, a drink will already be waiting for you.
Locals like to spend New Year’s Eve by the sea. The towns along the Riviera are correspondingly lively, with many nice restaurants and vibrant bars.
Whether we head south and fly to Albania or go to the Montenegrin coast depends on the weather.

Our guides all speak good English and will be happy to translate all the information for you. However, the main language of the tour is usually German.

Radio
Unfortunately, we cannot lend out PMR radios for this tour. Please bring your own. We recommend the Wintec LP-4502 and Basisrausch Lava. If you buy a Wintec at the Aerocenter, you will receive a special price – please contact us for more information. Alternatively, you can use any other PMR radio with a good range that allows you to set the main and sub-channel.
