Autumn classic in the west of Europe
Our round trip through Portugal is and remains an absolute classic. Flexible and spontaneous, we design our itinerary through this beautiful spot in the southwesternmost part of Europe, letting the weather conditions guide us to always be in the best place.
Most of the time we visit the highest mountains of the country, the Serra da Estrella, make a loop through the northern Portuguese Serras at Bornes or Mirandela near the Douro wine region to Montalegre on the Galician border. In addition, we always try to fly the so attractive soaring spots on the Atlantic coast north or south of Lisbon.
Accordingly, there is something for everyone on this tour, whether soaring fan or XC pilot, beginner or experienced; comfortable take-off and landing sites for almost all wind directions, reliable thermals with interesting reliefs for cross-country flights up to gentle soaring conditions in the evening in the serras or at the sea.
Together with the certainly most beautiful accommodations that we have to offer thanks to long-standing relationships and the culinary highlights of the regions, the holiday experience on our tour is not neglected!
Compared to spring, the conditions in autumn are somewhat softer, but still offer every opportunity for unforgettable flying experiences.
