Haute Provence
When the good flying days at home become rare again in autumn, a trip to the south-east of France is worth it. In this way, the Alpine flying season can be extended a little while the temperatures are still warm and the thermal conditions are good.
The wild, romantic landscape of Haute Provence impresses with brightly colored autumn colors in October and bathes the slopes in bright yellow, orange and red. A real highlight to enjoy this scenery from the air.
The small town of Digne les Bains will be our starting point. From there, a variety of flight areas are easily accessible and we can adapt flexibly to the weather conditions.
Soaring for hours along the edge of Aspres. Or a few more kilometers along the cloud bases in Saint André les Alpes. As well as good local cuisine and excellent wines for the evening program. Southern France has something to offer for everyone.
